New Week, YAY!<\/p>\n

[Okay, so for those of my followers on zeee blog that do not know, I recently had **a very aggressive** Double Jaw Surgery. Tomorrow will be three weeks to the day that I was under and I can not believe how fast, yet so slow, the weeks and days have been. Some days are better than others but it is for sure such a process and journey to walk through. I will do a full post covering all this surgery stuff, soon! Just will be a pretty lengthy post and I have not had the energy to do it yet. ha!]<\/p>\n

Being down for 3 whole weeks I have had A LOT of time on my hands, sitting in bed, coloring in coloring books (yes, I love to color!!), watching movies, sitting with friends in my bed working, brainstorming post ideas, thinking… lots and lots of thinking…, and online shopping!! (No buying right now of course because, no where to go. Buttt.. I still love planning outfits and putting things together! I think it’s so fun!)<\/p>\n

There has never been a time in my life, since starting this whole blog thing in college, that I have had all this time on my hands to really devote it to – thinking, brainstorming, and devoting my time and efforts to what I want my brand to be as an artist and individual.<\/p>\n

With being down and especially being banded shut for 6 weeks (no talking really), I have had such a unique opportunity to really think things through, make a game plan, and focus on\u00a0what I can do to make my dreams and reality. There is nothing like not being able to do really anything for 6 weeks to make you HYPER motivated and ready to take on the world, let me tell you. haha!<\/p>\n

With that being said, one of the things that I HAVE thought through is,\u00a0I don’t want to be known as “a blogger”.<\/strong> *GASP* What?! Yes, call me crazy but I don’t. I have known from a very young age that\u00a0“my calling in life” was to sing and use the gift the Lord has given me. I have been sitting on music that I have written, for years now and like I said, there is nothing like being down to make you more focused and motivated that ever – to really chase your dreams and go after what you know has been placed on your life – so that is exactly what I am going to do!!<\/p>\n

Am I still going to talk about all things clothes, beauty, and awesomeness? WELL DUH<\/strong>! Those are all things that I love and when given the opportunity to share things that I love with other people, I will – hands down! I just want to focus on seeing my music and who I am as an artist go hand in hand with the clothes and beauty products that I am wearing and putting out there to you guys. It can be so easy to fall into the trap of blogging and “being someone we aren’t” or looking\/doing things that other people will like, but if we don’t LOVE it as a person does it really matter? Is it truly worth it?<\/p>\n

One of my best friends always says, “Let’s all just be who we really are!” I don’t know what it is but something about that just sticks with me and I hear her say it in my head\u00a0all the time.<\/p>\n

I was so eager for this recovery process and what the Lord\u00a0was going to teach me and show me. Boy is He doing just that and I can hardly wait to get these bands off my mouth, so that I can start getting out there and performing MY MUSIC for you all!! What an exciting day that is going to be.<\/p>\n

For all the fashion lovers out there, trust me.. the clothes and beauty products are not going anywhere, I am just going to be giving you guys the looks that I love and have been itching to wear and shoot for you guys. Like I said, the online shopping (with no buying) has been out of control! haha.<\/p>\n

Anyway, this was kind of a little\u00a0life update<\/em> post but that is something that I want this outlet to be..<\/p>\n

I want this to somewhat be a diary of my life and days for you guys. One of the most valuable characteristics to me in a person is someone who is seamless<\/em><\/strong>. I want my site, blog.. whatever you want to call it to be a transparent journal of things I like, things I dislike, what I am doing that\u00a0day, or something as simple as thoughts and ideas that are on my heart.<\/p>\n

If you read this, I am so thankful for people like you who enable me to do what I do and make this my job, hobby, and something I love. I am by no means where I want to be but everyday there is growth, even if we don’t see it.. a step closer to where we are suppose to be and such a sweet journey!<\/p>\n

You guys are the best!!!<\/p>\n
