This look is one that I have been so excited about sharing with you guys. I am in love with anything lace looking (since Lace is my middle name)! When I opened this dress from Romwe I just about died because it is the perfect Valentine’s dress… I love the color red and this one is amazing. It is such a bright rich shade!
Confession: I also get so weird about my arms showing (weird I know.. until I get the rest of my college weight off… we have all been there don’t lie) and typically don’t like to wear things without out sleeves so this sleeve length is my kinda party!
I paired this red with leopard because how can you go wrong with that combo?

Still can’t believe that VALENTINE’S DAY is almost here!!!
I used to obsess over this date, February 14th, with past boyfriends planning every detail… then hate it… then feel like it was only “single awareness day” as the boyfriends drifted off but honestly my mind has completely changed on this holiday, especially this year.
We are called to love one another and the Lord makes that very clear to us in the Bible.
How cool is it that we are given a whole day just to recognize + shower the ones that we love and adore in extra special love. It makes me think.. Shouldn’t we live everyday like it’s Valentine’s Day? I mean, we should always be telling the ones that we hold dear in our hearts just how much they mean to us. We shouldn’t/don’t have to have a fancy holiday to do that.
To all my fellow single gals (yes, I am a single lady too!), I want to encourage you as Valentine’s Day is creeping up – our value does not lie in what boy we wish we were kissing on Valentine’s day, nor on whether we got asked out or not… but it does have everything to do with how Christ sees us, which is beautiful, lovely, wanted, and cherished.
If you are a believer, He is our forever valentine who is constantly showering us with His perfect grace + love, and He is who we should find our worth in not some silly little boy (and that goes for whether you have a boyfriend or not)! So, if you were like me, for a long time, holding an umbrella over your head resisting His shower of love… I challenge you to put the umbrella down and let His love, grace, and mercy shower you like He so badly wants too.
