HAPPY QUARANTINE MY GALS,
I have been wanting to do a round up of all my favorite beauty products that I use on a very regular basis. I thought this would be the perfect time to share the ones I love so much, since we are all just sitting at home!
Let’s just jump right in:
1. MAC PRO LONGWEAR CONCEALER
Let me first say that I have loved this concealer so much its been hard for me to try other ones because I am just such a fan. Let me preface it with this too, a fun fact about me is I have been doing hair and makeup for people for years now. I have had many clients from entire bridal parties, brides, mother of the brides, prom girls, I mean you name it I have probably done it.. Without a doubt…
every. single. time.
this concealer is flawless on anyone and a little goes THE longest way. I also love that sometimes when I want it to go further or be a little lighter I can add water to it and create a different consistency. This is a staple for me in my makeup kit.
2. MORPHEΒ 8C COOL PRO BLUSH PALETTE
I purchased this palette back in 2018 for a bride I was doing makeup for and fell in love with it ever since then. I love that it has a mix of shimmers and then a few matte shades. I also love that there is such a wide range of light to dark colors, its so versatile. There are good blushes on the market but they can range from 30-50 dollars for one shade. Personally, I think this is the best bang for your buck… 8 shades for under $30 is a steal and they are all sooo pigmented that this palette last FOREVER.
3.Β MAC STUDIO FIX POWDER PLUS FOUNDATION
I have no words for this powder other than – TRY IT.
I have used it since high school, and repurchase every time I run out. I love dusting this all over my face after I apply my liquid foundation to help set my entire face.
Again, not going too deep into this, aside from – TRY IT.
4. TULA PRO-GLYCOLIC 10% RESURFACING TONER
I know there is a like a cult of Tula users now in the blogging community and I will say, when they first came out with the line I wasn’t all that impressed, but I revisited it maybe a year and a half ago and it has been a GAME CHANGER for my skin. I have other Tula products on here that I am taking into the new year but this one is a staple for me and really feel like it has improved my skin!
5. CY0 SHIMMER STICK
This is another find that is sooooo affordable. I can’t find a link to it but you can get it at Walgreens for $3?! I use this on myself and everyone else too! This is such a great deal I would just try it and see if you like it! I always apply this as a shimmer base when I want a fun little eye for the day or night! I really feel like it helps my eyeshadow stick too – can act as a great primer.
6. ANASTASIA DIPBROW POMADE BROW COLOR
I am a stickler about brows and I have been using this for several years now too. Most people know about this pomade but if you don’t and fill your brows in, and want them to last in water… this is for you. This is a summer time staple for me especially. I fill my brows in with this everyday. I have had my little guy for over a year too so its definitely bang for your buck!
7. NEUTROGENA LIP GLOSS HYDRO BOOST HYDRATING LIP SHINE
So its funny, I used to hate lipgloss and then this last year a flip switched and I can’t get enough. I think there is something so fun about a glossy lip. It’s so flirty and if you get a good neutral color its just a subtle glam up! This gloss is AMAZING. I am embarrassed by how many of them I have purchased haha! Whoops. I love the shades: Berry Brown, Almond Nude, and Ballet Pink.
8. TULA PURIFYING FACE CLEANSER
I have a lot of people ask me, “what Tula products should I try first?” and I always tell them the PH gel and this cleanser. This was the first Tula product I bought to try out when I revisited the line and have repurchased this ever since. I will add too.. it’s 28 dollars but can last me almost all through the year. It is such a great bang for your buck!
9. OLAPLEX NO. 4 BOND MAINTENANCE SHAMPOO
This list is in no particular order but if it were, this shampoo and conditioner would be at the top of the list. Not that hair is everything but I am such a sucker for good hair. I use to have the longest and strongest hair ever but when I started coloring it more, naturally it started to break and damage more.
In high school I used to get my hair cut every 7 weeks or so to keep it healthy and strong (which if you don’t get your hair cut often, I would!). I absolutely LOVE my hairdresser and she is like a sister to me. She told me to start using this hair line and said she has changed peoples entire head of hair. Naturally I bought it the next day haha.. I have been using it ever since and my hair is finally getting back to normal!! It is worth every penny and lasts about 6-7 Β months. Seriously add this to your cart now.
10. OLAPLEX NO. 5 BOND MAINTENANCE CONDITIONER
Again, I swear by this line. ^^
I would just get it and thank me later! The shampoo and conditioner is a couple so don’t split them up π
11. MAYBELLINE FIT ME MATTE + PORELESS FOUNDATION
I used to spend a lot of money on foundation but was tired of going through it so fast and having to drop $30. I have used this every single day for almost 2 years and love it. I love a full coverage matte look and this is such an affordable foundation for under $7. Within the line there is a Matte + Poreless version and a Dewy + Smooth – I have tried both and don’t love the Dewy + Smooth version, but like I said, I love a matte look!
Definitely try the Matte or Dewy and decide which one you like more π
12. AIRSPUN TRANSLUCENT LOOSE FACE POWDER
Whether I am doing hair and makeup for a bride or needing my makeup to set for a photoshoot or video I am filming, this is such a great translucent powder. I know a lot of people love the Laura Mercier version of this but I just can’t bring myself to spend that much money on loose powder. Again, I don’t like to spend boat loads of money on makeup though! Wish I could, I just can’t haha.
For literally $6 this is such a win and I have had mine for over a year and have barely but a dent in it! This is great for after you apply your foundation to dust this powder all over to set too! Great for baking under your eyes as well.
13. MORPHE 35F FALL INTO FROST EYESHADOW PALETTE
I have 3 of these morphe palettes in different shades and this it is truly the best bang for your buck on the market right now. I mean come on its literally 35 colors for $25?!
If I were you and you are looking for a good eyeshadow palette I would go into Ulta and check out the colors they have and see which one you like better!
I hope that was helpful and I really can say, I wouldΒ not recommend spending money on these products if I did not absolutely love them. I am not one who spends a lot of money on beauty products so these are my ride or die things that I love and continue to buy!
If you have questions about any of them please don’t hesitate to reach out and I can talk you through whatever questions you have! ♥♥
